How can we leave people behind? I am caught in a endless circle of thought on this topic. If we cared so much for people, how can we leave them behind? I, myself, have left countless people behind. Friends, girlfriends, even family have seen the chopping block of my heart. I know with each person the reason was different, and I know with each person it wasn’t a quick decision.
Why would I toss the people I once carried for aside like old socks? Well, why does anyone? Some may have been for love, some may have been for hate, but mostly I believe it was because of loyalty. When a girlfriend cheats on you she has no loyalty. When a friend ditches you that shows they have no loyalty.
Loyalty is the most important thing when dealing with others. Be good to each other, be loyal, and you’ll be happy.
As always writers write.

Persistence
It is easy to say your going to do something, but it's harder to follow up. I have returned from my caffeine fueled days of board gaming to leave a wish for the world: be better. It's not to say that there isn't good amongst us because there is many achieved, intelligent, and dignified people in this world. Really, I want to say be better then that. I know we can rise up above what we are and see the world clearly. I know we can forget our mistakes, forgive injustices, and fortify our resolve.
I say all of this because I should start with myself. I am angry but I forgot why. I should forgive but parts of me still cling on the ideal that I shouldn't unless asked. I think of my wish to be better but I don't think today will be the day I can find it in myself to be.
I decided to start writing another book. The previous project seemed to hit dead end that I can’t get past, but I believe that this one will be something that I can finish.
Finishing is all that matters. Writers write!

Insomnia
When you can't sleep, all your left with is your thoughts. Maybe, I should have worked out more. Maybe, I should have stayed in school. Maybe, I should write a blog. Two of the three maybes are beyond helping at this point in the night/early morning, but I thought I would start this blog.
I want to be a writer but I have this nagging problem of not wanting to write. When I sit down at the key board I try my hardest to find anything to get in my way. The excuses fall like rain and yes, I have used rain as an excuse.
This is my turning point. I will write. I know I will. By writing this, I hope to find the most elusive thing to writers, my voice. I might improve my grammar which is lacking.
That's all for tonight. Tomorrow starts a new day of a writer that writes.
